Chefchaouen is 200 kilometres (124 miles) from Marrakech. The path will affect the distance, but these are the most often occurring:
Driven
Driving four to five hours. Most travel there by N-8 and N-13. Approaching the Rif Mountains close to Chefchaouen, this gorgeous path presents fantastic views.

Primarily CTM and Supratours, many bus companies run between Marrakech and Chefchaouen.
Depending on traffic and stops, bus travel takes six to seven hours. Try this if you would rather not drive.
Train and bus transportation
From Marrakech, a 5.5-hour train journey takes you to Tangier. From Tangier, It takes two and a half hours by bus to Chefchaouen.
Though it takes longer, this choice lets you see more of Morocco.
Flights
Marrakech needs an airport; hence, there are no direct flights to Chefchaouen. The closest airport is Tangier. Therefore, flying is advised against this path.

While most major roads are in good shape, alpine roads could be minor and more wind steering.
If driving, stop for breathtaking vistas in Asilah or the Rif Mountains.
